Home sweet home~
I noticed several habits, things, and differences between Korea and Canada that I thought were interesting:
1) Koreans don’t use the A/C too much. When the car gets hot, the driver lowers the windows. When the car gets cold, they raise the windows. Even in houses if it gets too hot, people open windows/doors, and when it gets too cold they close the windows. Probably to save energy/money in...
Woke up today at about 8:00am………to have breakfast at our hotel~ it was a buffet style breakfast and it was delish! I had fruit, salad, rice congee, and seaweed soup~ mmmmm~ so good…..although the seaweed soup had a bit too much garlic~ but overall yum! there were a lot of other foods that I wanted to try, so I guarantee I will go back for more~
We all made it safely in korea! ohhhh boy…..we are all lazy….haha~ we don’t even want to unpack! haha~ we are staying at the Seoul Ramada Hotel. We are all soooooo noob with everything. It’s a good thing that my parents are comfortable communicating with everyone here. I actually tried a bit of korean myself! haha! turns out they can all understand me! sweet! =D~ gotta love...
alright~ I am all snug over here at the vancouver airport~ I have to wait around 2 hours for my official flight to Korea! I’m sitting here watching my mom figure out her new ipad! hahaha~ it’s amusing to watch….=P~ Surprisingly it’s pretty quiet at the Vancouver airport, and because it’s morning not many stores are open…….which kinda sucks because we...
I am headed off to korea!
I never really noticed how brown my hair was until I saw it under the sun. My hair looks like I dyed it chestnut brown color! It’s weird! I just always assumed my hair was black until now….
I realized today that in 3 days I’ll be flying off to korea! Woot woot~
Blehhhhh….soo many complaints today……-.-
Insomnia seriously hits at the worst time possible………
Bleh…….so much going on!!!!! Ahhhh~ I have packing to do, scholarships to fill out, forms to fill out…and work…..haha~ but in a strange way, I like being busy. It keeps you occupied and you feel like you’re doing something worthwhile with your time.
